With the upcoming elimination of the Grad PLUS program effective July 1st, CHESLA is developing a new and enhanced Connecticut graduate loan solution. This program will offer 5-, 10-, and 15-year repayment terms, along with multiple repayment options to better meet the needs of today’s graduate students. CHESLA Hosts Counselor Connect Event to Equip High School Counselors with Financial Aid Resources and Support

The Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA) convened approximately 50 high school counselors from across Connecticut for its Counselor Connect event, an in-person gathering designed to strengthen support for students and families navigating college readiness, financial aid, and the cost of higher education.

Hosted at Goodwin University in East Hartford, the event provided counselors with practical tools, timely policy updates, and direct connections to statewide resources that help students make informed decisions about paying for college.
